Brad Pitt’s New Movie ‘Cliff Booth’ Announces Title and Release Date

In an exciting development for film enthusiasts, Brad Pitt is set to reprise his role as Cliff Booth, the enigmatic stuntman from Quentin Tarantino’s 2019 hit film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. This time, Booth’s adventures continue in a new spin-off film directed by acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher. Titled The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, the movie delves into Booth’s life as he navigates the evolving landscape of Hollywood in 1977, eight years after the original film’s setting.

Quentin Tarantino, known for his distinctive storytelling and iconic films such as Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained, has penned the screenplay for this new venture. However, he has opted not to direct, maintaining his stance that his final directorial work will not be a sequel, even as he remains enthusiastic about revisiting the world of Cliff Booth. Taking the helm instead is David Fincher, whose impressive directorial credits include Fight Club, Zodiac, and The Social Network. Fincher’s involvement promises a fresh creative perspective on Booth’s cinematic journey.

The film boasts a star-studded cast alongside Brad Pitt, featuring talents such as Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. The ensemble also includes Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis, and Karren Karagulian. This diverse lineup of actors adds depth and intrigue to the unfolding narrative, which seeks to explore Booth’s complex character and his adjustment to a rapidly changing film industry.

The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth is set for an exclusive two-week global IMAX release starting November 25, offering audiences an immersive cinematic experience. Following this theatrical debut, the film will be available for streaming on Netflix from December 23, broadening its reach to a global audience eager for the continuation of Booth’s story. This release strategy underscores the film’s anticipated impact and the enduring appeal of Pitt’s portrayal of the stuntman with a mysterious past.

With the collaboration of Tarantino’s writing and Fincher’s directorial vision, the return of Cliff Booth to the big screen is poised to captivate audiences once more. This project not only reunites Pitt with one of his memorable roles but also offers a nuanced exploration of Hollywood’s evolution, seen through the eyes of a character who stands at the intersection of old and new cinematic traditions.
