Trump Reassures Nation: “Iran War is Almost Over”

President Donald Trump has sought to reassure the American public that the war in Iran is nearing its conclusion. Trump stated that the mission is “very complete” because the Iranian military has been effectively dismantled, losing its navy, air force, and communications. He described the campaign as a “short-term excursion” that was essential for getting rid of “some evil” in the world.
The transition to Mojtaba Khamenei as Supreme Leader in Tehran has been a major point of criticism for Trump, who has called the new leader a “lightweight.” The President’s refusal to recognize the new leadership signals a continued hardline approach toward the Iranian regime. Despite this, he remains confident that the “hottest phase” of the war is coming to a swift end.
Trump highlighted the military’s “amazing” performance, noting that they are “very far ahead of schedule” in their operations. He argued that the swift nature of the strikes has prevented the war from becoming a long-term burden on the United States. The President’s message is one of “ultimate victory” and the protection of American interests at any cost.
Energy stability has been a key focus for the administration, with Trump’s recent comments helping to lower oil prices that had spiked near $120. The President has warned that any attempt by Iran to block the Strait of Hormuz would be the “end of that country.” He also mentioned that the U.S. is “thinking about taking over” the strait to ensure the free flow of oil.
As the conflict enters its second week, the human cost is becoming increasingly clear, with over 1,200 deaths reported in Iran. Trump’s narrative remains focused on the “greatest and most exceptional nation” overcoming “evil terrorists.” The world now waits to see if the “very complete” war will transition into a lasting regional peace.
